What is the IQ, And IQ Test questionnaires?

So...What are all those IQ Test questionnaires?

Psychologists are agree that there are several forms of intelligence: verbal ease, logic, numerical reasoning, intelligence or musical space among others. Some of these skills are strongly related between them, such as verbal intelligence and logic.
The intelligence quotient (IQ) is a measure of general intelligence, that the correlation is common to these specific skills ( "g factorIt is therefore in the overall capacity of each of thinking and problem solving in a limited period of time.

Scientific studies have shown that IQ scores obtained within the population still always a law of normal distribution. By convention, the overall average IC has been established in 100. Thus, 68% of the population has an IQ between 85 and 115. There are lot of different IQ test questionnaires and here is :

The major components of general intelligence

"It's the ability to use digital data so methodical and appropriate."

"Power to understand the subtleties of language and verbal properly use the data."

"In life, many activities need logical abilities. For example, the logic is predominant in activities such as computer science, law or medicine."

"The situations that require the numerical factor are numerous and varied: mental calculation, finance, negotiations, statistics, budgetary monitoring, and so on."

"In a culture where writing and language have taken considerable importance, the ability to quickly understand the information that surround us is a strong point in life.

. Neurophysiological studies conducted by R. Sperry showed that our two brain hemispheres have different ways of dealing with and complementary information. Each of us has a "dominant hemisphere," either the left (analytical) or right (intuitive): (*)

-The left hemisphere specializes in treating sequential and analytical data; prefers environments known, what can be classified into categories, and so on.

The right hemisphere functions in a more intuitive, comprehensive, integrated awareness of feelings and emotions, is more comfortable with what is new, with the various possible combinations, and so on.

IQ test Scoring (classic)

IQ Test measures your abilities of:

a) details insight
b) general (logic) reasoning
c) creative combining

Classic IQ(intelligence) tests, just like any other tests and questionnaires, should be standardized according to certain population, and in many cases, that hasn’t been done...But that’s another story. Usually there are border levels at every 20 points and some classification assigned (idiot, average, high average, genius). Tests are usually specialized for some population or age level!. For example, if IQ test is specialized for general population, it will badly show the difference amongst an idiot, a genius, and an above average intelligent person.
For example, if we performing IQ test for kids, it has to be adjusted for children! If test hasn’t been adjusted to a specific population, results are going to be not accurate, test and population will look stupid because of bad preparation of intelligence test ! If IQ test is performed in some specific country , For example Japan or
China, then their culture should be considered as a factor for the test ! They have their own tests, which are very interesting! Japanese IQ tests and Chinese IQ test are tests where a specific logical thinking is required, full of pictures and simple stories in the spirit of there culture!

Classic IQ test scoring!

80-120 IQ is average, as 80% of all people have IQ in this range

Less than 80 = below average (10% of population)

Between 120-148= above average (8% of population)

Above 148= 2% of population

121-140 above average

141-160 high above average

161-180 genius

181-200 something hotter

Relax with the music and increase IQ

Psychologist Frances Rauscher and her colleagues discovered more than 10 year ago that the listening of Mozart improves the neural activity in the brain and increases IQ and mental power. other researcher has proved that children which attended musical lessons has several points higher intelligence test results from children which did not do that. If nothing else, music can help you to relax and get rid of the stress. You will feel better and your brain will work more efficiently. We can call them : music exercises for increase IQ. But of course....those are not exercise, just a good way to relax and take a break from the everyday life...

Exercise your mind and increase intelligence!

If you exercise your mind daily, you will increase your ability of processing information naturally. For example, quiz shows, riddles, crossword puzzles, even bingo can maintain your mental abilities on the satisfying level. Some studies have shown that mental exercises can increase intelligence up to eight percent.

There are lot of exercises to increase intelligence, and lot of useful ideas you can find in other posts on this blog!

Feed Your Brain and Increase IQ

Our brains rely on on the fatty acids( omega 3) in order to work properly, especially on fat acids which can be found in fishes and in the whale-oil. If we do not not get sufficiently of those fatty acids, our brain starts to spend "supplies". The brain can even " block " if does not get the necessary fatty acids for a longer time, Then we have difficultly with concentration, we lose the memory and start to speak confusing. Diverse food rich with fresh fruit and the vegetables and regular gymnastics will help us maintain the brain in good shape or even help us to increase our IQ naturally.

How to Increase intelligence?

First intelligence test are created in France by Alfred Binet . He tried to find out the way how to recognize " normal " children from the children which have the difficulties with learning. Afterwards those tests developed Lewis Terman and result was the Stanford-Binet intelligence test.
IQ, or intelligence is controversial because supposedly it measures how intelligent are you in comparison with the rest of population. The results of intelligence (IQ) test are often wrong interpreted The result 100 "quotient points" is the average result. The higher result means that you are more intelligent of the the majority of population, and lower results that you are less intelligent. It is assumed that that around half of the population achieves the results between 90 and 110 on the standard and classic IQ test. Ones who achieve more than 130 are there are only two percent of them very intelligent and them in the whole population. Also ones who achieve less than 70 are considered significantly less intelligent.
Intelligence depends on several factors. On IQ can influence the environment, social background and the genetics. Although we know that the intelligence cannot be measured with 100 percent certainty, on the Intelligence test results we can influence in very simple way. .There are lot of free online sample of intelligence tests, which you can try to solve it, but they are not all "official" and most of them are created just for fun and entertainment....

"Crazy " Tests Are Very Popular !

Today it’s very popular to test and measure everything, so there is a lot of stupid tests measuring our abilities , or to increase memory and their purpose is mostly just to have fun! We all have a brain and memory and it is really sad thing to waist time on those stupid brain and memory tests! For fun...Ok. but not too much please! Same goes for intelligence! You can find all kinds of different personality tests, Japanese IQ tests, Chinese IQ tests(which are by the way very serious tests based on specific logic thinking), even free frog IQ test!?! That can be funny, but far from classic IQ tests, so let’s not take them seriously! (I wish that Albert Einstein could see this, i think he would choose a frog test !!)

Would Albert Einstein have highest IQ score ever

Intelligence, at certain level transforms, and becomes an art or intuition, and it becomes immeasurable! Albert Einstein was creative-thinker and his thoughts are bordering with art, just like Nikola Teslas thoughts. I’m not sure if you know, but Albert Einstein had to repeat a class in elementary school because of his bad scores in Math! So, was Albert Einstein stupid or an idiot or had a bad memory!?! Their scores probably couldn’t be measured, but if they could, probably those would be the highest IQ test scores ever! I suppose, classic IQ tests would be really a "idiot tests" for them!
